Q: When shopping for sunglasses what would influence you to buy online versus in person? Price? Style? Uniqueness?
A: Uniqueness! I prefer to purchase sunglasses in person so I can see what they look like, but if I find an interesting pair that I like online, I'll definitely place an order it to try it out.

Q: Are you the kind of person to own many different pairs of sunglasses or are you the type to have one favorite pair? Why?
A: I own many different pairs because I like to match them to different outfits.

Q: What do you think of the Steampunk sunglasses trend? Is it something you want to see more of? Why?
A: It looks good on some people and doesn't look so great on others. As a trend, I think it's a little overdone. Too many of the big name influencers have been wearing them on Instagram.

Q: Let’s talk classic sunglasses. What style do you like the most; cat eyes, round, or aviators? Does this style hold a good place in your mind or do you just like the way they look the most?
A: I've always been a fan of the cat eye look. I frequently tell people I feel like I was born in the wrong era, because most of the styles I'm drawn to are older ones. Audrey Hepburn or Jackie Kennedy in a classic cat eye is a timeless look. Lately I've been wearing aviators pretty regularly, too.

Q: In your opinion what is the next sunglass trend? Colors, shape, size?
A: I love predicting trends! I plan to work as a fashion buyer once I graduate from SCAD, and a big part of my job will consist of predicting future trends. The summer sunglasses trends I predict are definitely ones with an 80s/90s silhouette that have smaller frames and unique shapes -- and in lots of funky colors to match swimwear!

Q: Do you like color lenses or mirror lenses better?
A: I usually go for colored or polarized lenses.

Q: Story Time! Tell us about the first pair of sunglasses you remember loving. Why did you love them so much? What makes them stand out in your memory?
A: My favorite pair of sunglasses was a pair of of red heart-shaped ones. I was going through a major Lana del Rey phase! I loved them because they made me feel so fashionable and because red has always been one of my favorite colors.

Q: When do you wear sunglasses the most? While on vacation? While Driving? Playing a sport?
A: I try to always wear them when I'm at the beach as an added layer of protection for my skin. I also wear them while driving, and I LOVE to wear them to accessorize an outfit.

Q: Do you go for plastic or metal frames more? Is there a color you like better for a frame; gold, silver, black, turtle shell, a bright color?
A: I'm a huge fan of a classic cat eye frame in black plastic.

Q: Is UV protection something you look for in sunglasses?
A: I prefer glasses with UV protection, because I'm always trying to prevent wrinkles and take good care of my skin.

Q: Do celebrities influence the styles you wear? Who do you look to for fashion ideas? TV, movie, sports stars, your mom?
A: Yes, definitely! I love to see what styles celebrities are wearing, but I'm also not afraid to find something I like and wear it even if no one else is. I wear what I like, and it doesn't matter to me if it's trendy or not. A few of the celebrities I like to keep an eye on for style trends are Bella Hadid and Sofia Richie.
